Our next BOE meeting is this Monday July 22nd at 7:30pm at Lincoln Roosevelt. 34 N Hillside Ave, Succasunna.

Most notably we have 8 resignations from staff, including well liked RHS principal Dominick Miller.

This is a total of 44 resignations this calendar year (64 in 2023).

Here is chart of all resignations for each school for calendar year 2023, and 2024.

Our Title 1 elementary schools (Franklin and Nixon) also lost funding that covered 6 paraprofessionals.

Two resignations this month are from paraprofessionals in those schools, possibly due to their hours being cut.

With class sizes being relatively large especially in kindergarten and elementary school, our paraprofessionals are so important for both students and support to our teachers.

With less staff support, teachers will be under greater stress. Expect resignations to increase…
