Hello and welcome back readers!
Today we have updates on this year’s BOE election.
This past weekend was Olde Suckasunny Day, which often has marked the event in which BOE candidates first meet the public and share information about their campaign.
Shout out to the Roxbury Public Library, First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna, and United Methodist Church of Succasunna, which do a great job hosting this event every year.
This year both slates were present. We will start with the incumbent slate, candidate Kathy Purcell is a current BOE member. Her slate, “Education First” also includes Caitlyn Barba and David Faulkner.
